Hi Everyone! I'm new to the forum here and the online community in general. As of the last few months I have really been getting into collecting seriously, Well as serious as my budget will allow. I have a looooooong way to go. This means, among other things, that I don't let my 8 year old niece play with my smurfs anymore. Those are my toys! hehe. Looking forward to meeting other collectors here on the forum! I have started a blog as well to document my smurf collecting journey http://www.threeapplestall.com. I hope you check it out!
This forum is very addictive and you already know that smurfs are! I only recently started collecting again too and know what you mean about having a looooong way to go. It's fun getting there though!
Just had a quick look at your blog and I have to say, it is FAB. You have some great info on there, some really interesting ideas and I am well impressed with your graphics.
Looking forward to knowing more about you and your smurfs.

It is a joke!!!!!!! I love you all!!!!!!!And I have no words to thank you what you have done for me in my bad moments!!!!!!!!
Wow everyone here is so nice! Smurf collectors are the best!
To answer Tojo's question. I started collecting Smurfs back in 1984 when I was 5. I was totally in love with Smurfs cartoon, and luckly had a mom who recognized this and helped me indulge in my habit by buying me Smurf figurines. Unfortunatly my evil Gargamel brother threw away all my smurfs one time when he was made to clean my room. My collection of thirty smurfs, and the Smurf carrying case they were inside was thrown in the trash! I started back up again in the late 90's when I realized they were still making them and I could find them on the internet. Now I have about 200 Smurfs, which is not a lot but more than 30. and growing every month. In fact I just took a Smurf out the mail today. Smurfs in the mail are fun.
I like your blog...what a unique idea...and great information about ebay

Hi Renee A big to the forum.
I agree getting smurfs in the mail is great . My postman is the best when he brings a parcel but I curse him when he has nothing for me
Loved reading your blog And Mr Sutherland makes a very nice smurf
Welcome to the forum from me too. Nice to see your new smurf is an Aussie one....look after him, keep him warm and away from the snow....I believe it gets kind of cold up there.
