It looks like the release date for the 2019 Schleich smurfs is coming up January 18, 2019!

My apologies is this is old news as I just discovered the info today.

Hi Jenna,
no, that's the first that I've seen of anyone having them for preorder :D It will be interesting to see if they change the marking of the 4 that were released in the Lost Village box sets :???:

Here are all the 2019 smurfs: https://www.bdaddik.com/en/35-comics-co ... le-figures

But you need to scroll down. It gives their numbers, too. Does anyone know if the duplicate smurfs from the Lost Village movie sets have the same numbers?

No, the Lost Village smurfs were never given individual numbers, just each set was given a number.

Say, does anyone have a favorite 2019 smurf? I am partial to the one holding the cake. Although it is very similar to the Plastoy one. (Did I spell that name right?)

Has anyone got these yet? Just wonder if the 4 from the Lost Village boxsets which are included in these 8 have the same markings? :?
Cheers,
Tommo

I have seen from someone who posted on facebook that they are the same as the lost village movie, with same markings and even (c) year, and the only difference is the new paper tag with code number and barcode.
I have also heard a rumor that these are the last new molds produced by Schleich, whose licence for smrufs has expired and not renewed (but this is only a rumor...)

I have not yet purchased the 2019 smurfs but I have noticed more listings on eBay. They are on my list of things to do this weekend - purchase 2019 smurfs.

Thank you Paola! :D Yes, 2019 was the last year, but it's interesting that they maybe haven't renewed it. Does anyone have any contact with Schleicher? Yup, they're on my list as well Kath, I just don't want to buy the Lost Village ones again if they are the same markings as I have 2 sets of these already. :)
Cheers, Tommo

The new smurfs are in the shops here in Germany. I bought all 8 last week at a toy shop in a shopping arcade across the road from where I work. It's a shame that only 4 of them are actually new figures.

Does anyone know where the mould number is on Smurfette. I've looked everywhere but can't find it :-?

It is so sad to hear only four of them are new figurines, it’s like Schleich has become bored of the smurfs. So very sad! Which country were they made in?

The figures are all "Made in China" Kath. The 1st four were in the film box sets (Brainy, Smurfette, Hefty & Clumsy) & are marked 2016. The other four, Papa, Greedy, Present & Heart are marked 2018. I found the mould markings on all of them except Smurfette. I haven't compared her to the ones in the box sets as I don't want to open them...
