[Smurfysmurf]

Since our forum is pretty much split down the middle about the 2011 smurfs, I thought it might be nice to give everybody the opportunity to show what they would like Schleich do in the future.

1 Entry/picture per member (if you have more pictures, please post them in the display section)
The entry can be
- a drawing of a smurf/playset/building
- a home made smurf/playset/building
- picture of a smurfy scene/smurf/smurf related figure found in a comicbook/cartoon

The winner with the most votes will win one of the five smurf displays that were released this year in the US (your choice which one) , and I will do my best to get the winning picture to Schleich. I don't have a direct contact with them (yet) but certainly will give it my best shot (may need our resourceful Andre to help me )

Please post all pictures (1 picture/member/entry) in this thread to be considered. This thread will be closed Nov 20th and then we will start voting

You don't have a direct contact with them? What a loss on their part. I think most major companies read collector boards to find information and feedback. Its a shame they don't come here. I've certainly enjoyed talking with other smurf collectors and am looking forward to entering this contest

I do think Schleich read on this forum, and I also think it is good that they do this and I don't see this as they are spying.

I would like new supersmurfs and playsets.

I agree... it is not spying... i think it shows they take an interest in the collector community.... Good to here that they may stop by rom time to time....I'll make sure to be on my best behavior

Thanks. I don't draw very often due to a hereditary muscle condition (nothing serious but it hurts after awhile)... used to draw all the time (and teach art too). I figured I'd do these to make my daughter happy (My wife was surprised to see me draw after many years). I'm okay with them but I used to draw so much nicer

I second that. I really want participate in the competition , however since I have to read four novels at the same time for my courses plus I will be attending a conference on medieval saints" tomorrow, I only got some time over the weekend.

Sorry, Dom....the rules state 1 picture per entry...can you pick your favorite picture (or group picture if you have several smurfs) to post in this thread and post the remaining pictures in the homemade or display section?
