As it has become tradition in my household, I used the day after Thanksgiving to prepare my house for Christmas time

This is what my living room now looks like :D

well, Christmas seems still far away.
I`m still adapting from the lovely sun in Sintra....

first Sinterklaas ( 5/12) and then , one week later, I focus on Christmas.
But I know how much you love christmas, so.. well done Moey!

Hi Maureen

Very very nice.
You did a great job.
The only thing missing are the packages from Santa :)

Lia, it's funny, but over here there were others who had their decorations out mid November. That was a bit too early for me, but most seem to do this weekend (it's a long weekend for many of us so there is plenty of time).

Back in Germany, we would only have the Adventskranz out during Advent, and do the Christmas decorations on Christmas Eve :D.

I know, it`s perfectly normal in other countries to start early
( in Holland, it starts àfter december the fifth)
I remember once being in London at the end of september , hot and sunny, and Harrods was fully decorated with lights and ornaments.
And last week, I saw lots of shopwindows with christmas decorations in Portugal!
so,it`s all allowed Maureen 8-)
and you can enjoy it for at least 5 weeks!

Your xmas decorations look great! :)

No xmas deco for us here, as we really don´t care... maybe next year or year efter, when Luke is a bit older and might start enjoying them. :D
